JC plucks to shape. Its a natural shape but if you saw her brows in the Labyrinth when she was younger you can see she is a shaper too. Emma Watson - same deal.

I get mine threaded now because waxing makes me break out afterwards. I pay $30 for a good trim (very hard to find, but I found her through Yelp) and I try to maintain that shape for 3 months or so. When I feel that I can't maintain it anymore, I go back to her and she reshapens it for me. Be careful who you go to because I went to one lady who overplucked my brows (even though she only charged $8), and it took almost a year to grow them back; and that was the help with some castor oil. Never again.

Well groomed brows make you look more polished, fresher, healthier, more awake. The upkeep hurts like the devil, but well worth the trouble. I really like threading, but I it's hard to find anyone in my area who does it well. So I go to the salon and opt for the waxing, plucking plus a tiny, tiny trim with scissors. I have thick ones as you may have guessed and I like to wear them kind of full. I think it's a younger, more natural look.

I've been plucking since I was 13. At first I overdid it, then towards my late teens figured out the balance.

I got my father's eyebrows. They completely overshadowed my face, made my eyes look smaller, and were just generally unfeminine. Also wiry! They show badly against my pale skin, almost black as they grow back in. So I use my tweezers daily, and on rare occasions, thread or wax.

The pain is gone, what with plucking the same hairs for 16 years and counting. I can't flippin believe they won't just give up.
