I am in the school fo thought that curvy = discernible waist and hips. No matter what size you are. Dita Von Teese is curvy, as are the women:
Other people call it a discernible bust (Kate Upton or Jessica Simpson). Others call it an obvious bust to waist or waist to hip ratio. Or an hourglass shape.
It looks like we are all pretty confused these days.
This article is funny. I wonder if the celebrities' sizes they mention are real. Not all seem accurate, honestly.
As for curves, it doesn't mean anything anymore, obviously.

I am not confused - the women you have pictured are obese with slight curves thanks to tightly cinching in their waists.
As for celebrities, who knows. They are all photoshopped so heavily we really can't say much about their body types.

Well, maybe #2 is curvy she is solidly hipped. But #1 is clearly creating the look she looks like that outfit is cutting her circulation off under the bust.
The problem is everyone is obsessed with "curviness" and wants to be called "curvy" hence the great "What constitutes curvy debate?". LOL.

I think this is the benchmark for the perfect curvy figure:

I wonder what she is wearing underneath. Those don't look like natural lines.
I was a bit skeptical too. But I follow her blog and that's her "normal." She posts plenty of what looks to be unadulterated photos. She just has "extreme" proportions. Curvy Wordy
