I have noticed a lot of gorgeous models being photographed with a large amount of their roots showing. Is this in fashion or are these women gorgeous enough to pull anything off?

What do you think of roots? Do you wear your roots long or touch up your roots as often as possible?

Opinions from men and women are welcome.

I have no idea! Maybe they are just normal people like you and me! (I need to touch up my roots)

Doesn't look bad to me. Yes they have the means to not have roots, but hey look just fine!

That's the style. Doesn't look bad to me although roots on my head drive me crazy. The ombré is a big deal here and some look good others don't.

Not into roots at all. I used to get mine done once a month.

To an extent, it's that awful ombré look that has been all the rage. I hate that look, it's messy and lazy.

But the blondes you included may actually be natural. Many blonde or semi-blonde people get lighter hair from sun exposure so the roots grow in dark and then lighten as they grow. It's also possible that their hair is dyed to imitate this natural color change.

I kind of really like that look...but I haven't dyed my natural hair in years.

I want to like ombre and the grown out look but what holds me back is I'm starting a very tight, buttoned-up job soon and I highly doubt these looks work in a professional envirement where I will be dressed business casual and on some days business formal.

I'm a beach bum deep down inside so I get the grown out ombre look but I'm not a fan of the DARK top and orangey bleached bottom. I think it needs to be a bit more subtle. I love this girls hair. She is still in high school I believe but she is very talented with hair and make-up, and does her color herself. If I could pull this hair off with a suit in a conservative office I would do it in a heartbeat. :

As long as you're not peroxide blonde with dull or dark roots, you'll fit in fine.

Models are not normal people. They always have that thousand-yard stare in their eyes. Maybe they think people won't notice or care if they don't dye their roots.
