Hi all-
I got a nice leather pair of riding boots for Christmas. One problem - they want to slouch a little above the ankle. So, I am going to take them back and try to find another pair, but what should I look for as far as fit goes?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think the OP wants real boots for riding but rather the style called "riding boots." Flat heeled and tall with no decoration.

Of course REAL riding boots have heels. I am NOT talking about those.

I never heard of a style called pirate boots.
