What jade said plus many specialty lingerie shops. The good news is that there is a huge amount of information and consumer reviews about these lines online. There are many blogs and sites devoted to reviewing every aspect of how each style fits on different sizes.

Yup! I read them all.

Depending on where you live, an indie store maybe easy or hard to find.

I just went to the store to return the bras. 32DD fit much better, everything was secured in place and holstered nicely. The only thing is there is no way I'm a DD. When I look in the mirror I see a b-cup, full c tops. Maybe I'm just used to my size or expect big boobs to looks like saline orbs. Victorias secret is so ridiculous. If they will run so small, they should start selling larger sizes in stores because a true 34 D will not fit into what VS has in store.

What a joke! I'm starting to think their target market is girls aged 11-18.

thanks for the info Jade. I'm going to try to get by with VS for now just because of the convenience. If I do go up a size, I may have to use those resources.

By the way, I will say walmart has an amazing selection of sports bras. I buy these $10 ones that are very supportive. They are foam and nothing else I have tried has worked as well. I could seriously run a marathon in them. They are the type of sports bra people pay $50 for at lulu or athleta.

Are you sure you're buying the right size? What measuring method are you using?

According to VS method I'm a 32d. But the 32d just looks small on, especially when certain styles create the 4 boob look. I'm wearing a 32dd from vs right now but the band feels a bit more snug than I used to but the cups seem alright.

By the regular ribcage and bust measurement I'm some crazy size that doesn't sound right. My rib cage is usually 28 (29 now after the holidays ) and my bust is 35-36 depending on time of month, etc.

You should really look into special sizes, see if you can find a place to try one on. 28 sounded crazy to me too, at first, but now when I try on my old 32 band bras I realize they provide zero support and really only "fit" in the sense that they totally covered my bust.

The Danskin ones. I bought one and wore it once to work out. Then I immediately went back and got three more because they were so comfortable. These are the best!

And I had also forgotten about figleaves.com. That's a great site.
