Maybe they are only good at measuring the smalluns!
I've not had much luck with the sizers at Nordstrom's or anywhere else.

I swear by Playtex Secrets #4422......they are pretty and wearable....no pulling or tugging and they last. I have been wearing them for about 10 years and I love them. When I am wearing them I hardly know I have it on!!!! I have others for dress but they are the BEST for everyday wear.

I have tried more $$$ bras, La Perla, Wacoal, and I always come back to good old 4422....I have never found any bra as comfortable. If anyone is interested, they run around $25.00 and I get my online thru Hanes Place or I watch the sales.

I've been fitted at a popular store here on Long Island (all the girls on the Island who are getting married go there for fittings.) They never gave me an exact measurement...you can't because every bra is different. They took my measurements and then gave me a handful of bras that they felt would fit best. Some worked, some didn't.

When I order bras from online, I order a few sizes of each style and try them on because you just never know!

I also order online from Decent Exposures and Sassybax, both very comfortable, sport type bras. A little more expensive, but well worth the extra expense, $40-50.

Default ahh- the bra saga

Well being I am a 38D, I have found for my liking the Le Mystere is a very good choice. My second choice is Bali.

And when I can't take it anymore we find some duct tape joke!!!

I am a 34DD and can never find bras in my size. When I do, the wire pokes out and hurts my underarm or the cups are too hard and pointy or too soft. I have yet to find a solution.

They are comfortable but mine don't last. After a few washings they tend to loose elasticity. Have you had the same problem?

I'm a 36DD and since discovering Lane Bryant bras, that's all I will wear. They are approximately $38 so not terribly pricey. Also, a lot of time they have BOGO half sales. I also like matchy matchy panties and the ones from Lane Bryant do not come in my size, but I seem to be able to find panties that match closely at VS.

Victoria Secret (body by victoria).

as for the poster who talked about washing - try handwashing your bras and allowing them to hang dry - might find that they'll last longer.
