Personally I think some married women feel that it is their God-given RIGHT to let themselves go and lose their looks after they get hubby to the altar. This is where all this angry indignation comes from if a spouse risks life and limb and dares to inquire about the spouse getting into better shape, or trying to et healthier.
Eh, I've seen far more men let themselves go after marriage than women. Most of the married women I know go to pilates, have a gym membership, do yoga etc. while the guys just sit on the couch, watch sports and eat.

1. I think they BOTH let themselves go.

2. If all these women have gym memberships, why is the obesity rate higher for women?

3. To men and women, quit making stupid excuses and lose some damn weight.

I swear to God I think threads like these are SUCH lies.

Everytime I go outside, I don't see guys with "thin" or "beautiful"(subjective) women. They have average looking GFs. Average body, average face, average height. AVERAGE AVERAGE AVERAGE!

This is a bunch of bull. Real life isn't Hollywood.

A lot of people have this problem. Real life isn't a runway. Real life isn't Hollywood.

Yeah, but for those of us who live in Hollywood, or where Hollywood industry people live and play, its all true.

THIS is average where I live:

This is what the average yoga instructor looks like. She actually teaches at Equinox here in L.A.:

Say that Kate Upton is chunky and you'll be torn apart. Say that Alessandra Ambrosio looks sickly and you get applauded as a defender of women.
And then when you try to get implants, you're called fake. You can't please everyone.
