I'm in the process of going through all of my shoes and got inspired to start a thread.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? Do you have a hard time getting rid of them? Do you have pairs that you've never worn?

I, for one, am an avid shoe lover/admirer and I have an incredibly difficult time with forcing myself to not rationalize why I absolutely "need" to hang on to a pair of shoes forever. I also have a difficult time talking myself out of shoes. It's resulted in my need to have a closet specifically for shoes.

Is anyone else a shoe junky?

I have one pair I haven't worn yet....I need to find an ocassion to wear them, but they are semi-dress sandals. Not nice enough for something formal. And a little harder to match. But I will wear them as soon as the sun comes out.

I'm a shoe junkie despite it being very difficult to find shoes in my size, 12. Fortunately, my husband likes me in heels.

I have no clue how many shoes or boots I own. I just recently purged a bunch, some never worn.

I have 3 prs of heels never worn as last summer I was busy moving not going out. At one time when I worked, I had about 50 prs of heels, flats, sandals, and boots. I think I currently have about 20 pr and it's too much for my retired life!

I dislike buying shoes as my feet are in between sizes. I never understood why other women are so obsessed with buying so many extra pairs of shoes.

My husband doesn't understand either - you need: diff. colors, open toe, closed toe, diff. heel heights, boots, sandals, dress, casual - I could go on and on (you MIGHT guess I was one of the 40+)

I am an absolute shoe junky.
I actually have people at my work who will stop me and ask "What shoes are you going to wear tomorrow?" because I never wear the same pair often

Just bought two pairs this week ! same style, different colors.
I love expensive shoes for different seasons, a closet full of hanging shoe bags, boxes, shelves ....cannot part with any of them.

I need a 12-step program for shoe buying; Shoes-Anon or ?

Haha, I do this, too! The way I see it, sometimes you just need to have color options (justification, right?).

Shoes-Anon could very well be a good idea.
