I like the way I look with make up on. The way I look makes me feel good. When I feel good, everyone feels good
Spice MAC....The color is amazing! I lightly line the outside of my lips because it gives my already plump lips (I'm half French so of course they are incredible) a raw vulnerable look which I like. It also makes my grey/green eyes pop with a yellow hue that makes them look transparent which I like a lot. I'm 41 so a little umph doesn't hurt!

Except you can't see your own face unless you have a mirror on yourself at all times. So save me the excuse, it is for other people's consumption not yourself.

OP clearly has security issues and is threatened by a woman's sexuality. What next? why bathe? Why brush your teeth?
Some of us aren't lazy and want to appear our best at all times. Image does matter. In job interviews, entertainment, retail, etc etc. Whether you like it or not. Learn to accept it. Learn to accept that you cannot control others.

Another dope who doesn't read and gets upset. Since you personally attacked me, I'd love to see your picture and how "beautiful" you are. I'd more than likely wouldn't take a first or second look, but there is the 1% chance you are actually pretty. To answer your question, since you are too lazy to read..

Bathing = health impact (practical/logical)
Brushing teeth = health impact (practical/logical)
Makeup = toxic in some products, no health impact

I couldn't careless what you do, or that most women wear makeup. Everyone knows I wouldn't be with a woman who wears makeup on a day to day basis, it is my personal preference as it is yours to put toxic chemicals for others to see.

Why would I be threatened by a woman's sexuality? I am a man, and it has nothing to do with me or my selection of women other than a warn shot that you are insecure in your natural appearance.

Men apparently have no problem landing jobs without makeup, but I guess you have some sexist excuse for why that is. You are pathetic and below me, next?

Her hair is gorgeous - kempt or unkempt (well... at least somewhat combed).

Women are pretty. You guys spend so much time trying to improve what doesn't need improving.
Aw, that's sweet. Yes, it's true that many women use too much makeup. But so what? It's fun to wear! In some cases, women wear it because of flaws in their skin, but it's usually to enhance their features.

However, even when I was a teenager, I didn't spend an hour applying makeup. Heck, I was a model over 40 years ago and nobody spends an hour putting on makeup. (maybe an actor for a role in a play or movie) Are you exaggerating to make your point or are you also including taking a shower, shaving, shampooing, conditioner, styling, etc.?

I wear very little makeup now. It takes me less than 2 minutes to comb my hair, brush on some powder and apply a little lipstick. I stopped wearing eye makeup regularly, but if I feel like looking a little more glamorous, add 2 more minutes to apply shadow, mascara and liner.

What a ridiculous comment. I can't see my backside either, but I make sure I don't have holes in my pants.

Women feel that they are not pretty, not beautify enough, do not have natural beauty. So they impose on themselves all these requirements of doing themselves up so it makes up for their self concept of lacking beauty. Based on this a whole industry has grown that feeds off of this insecurity.

I haven't used L'Oreal Infallible. My fave is Revlon Colorstay Overtime.

Men just hide their insecurities better. Viagra and similar prescriptions are sold all over the world and advertised to enhance a man's love life, but how many men admit they need it? I'm old, so I meet men in their 70s and they always seem to have the need to let you know how "virile" they are. (speaking of insecurities)

To tell you the truth, I wish men did care more about hygiene. I live in Florida and many people (both men & women) are slobs. I can't count how many times I've stood in a checkout line in back of a man who needs deodorant. How about the times you're seated in a theater and a man who hasn't washed between his cheeks needs to get by? Wish there was a warning sign that said "hold your breath!"

So men can complain all they want about my ruby red lips, but at least I don't have skid marks!
