Either sneakers or hiking boots depending on the weather.

"Men - what kind of shoes do you wear casually or with jeans?"

Any shoe that I own depending on how I feel, that means Chuck Taylor's to Bostonian wingtips.

Personally, I've been wearing a pair of Ecco loafers for a couple years now. I'm 26. I don't see any reason for wearing athletic shoes unless for a specific purpose. Loafers seem like the best option. I'm wanting to maybe upgrade to a nicer pair of loafers for casual wear, but have a fear of making choices that are 'too old' for me.
24 here.

90% of the time, I pick between two pairs of Vans. I have a pair of Sperry's that don't go nearly as well with jeans, so they've been parked for the winter. I also have a pair of Converse that I occasionally wear.

If the weather's especially disgusting or I know I'm going to be in a muddy place (car work, bonfires, etc.) then I have a pair of broken down New Balances for those occasions.

I have a pair of Dockers for more formal occasions, but that's about it.

Nike High performance running shoes. If I am late, I need to run 1.62 miles to reach class on time, thanks to stupid parking rules at Rutgers

With jeans, it's usually New Balance walking shoes or athletic sneakers. Sometimes hiking boots....

I rarely wear jeans , on the occasions that I do I will wear a pair of White's Semi Dress boots. They are a vintage work boot. I've got a few pairs in different leathers, depending on the occasion. Dress brown, natural CXL and brown Bison. If I'm working in the yard or out in the garage I will wear a pair of Danners.

Nice choice! Especially like the distressed cowhide for casual. About how much are they? Not even a hint on their website.

I to love the leather you picked, it was one of my choices but I ran across the Bison for a decent deal. My wife just ordered a pair of their laceup cowboy (girl?) style with a pointed toe , 14" in that distressed.
If you were to order them, I'd suggest getting them thru Baker's shoe , they are like White's custom house. You can get many different leathers thru them vs right from White's. Prices depend a lot of the leather chosen but on average around $300.
I have flat feet and the arch support in White's is far superior than anything I've worn. I do also like Wolverine 1000 miles, and Viberg Service boots but I don't think they have the support that White's does.
