What are your thoughts on J.Crew? Would you use there Very Personal Stylist option?

I like J Crew and have had fine experience with the quality of their clothing, but their prices are more than I'm comfortable with paying. Even on sale, many of the items are too much for me so I wouldn't be in a position to use their personal stylist, as I'm sure they steer customers right to the pricier options.
