Woe is me. My favorite leather shoes have red sticky candy on the heel/sides. RED.

Any ideas of how to remove???

How did it get there?

LOL

Just get a soap that is made for leather and wash it off. You can try oil too but I worry about it changing the color of the shoe.

You could also just take a hot wet cloth and swipe it, dry it. repeat till its gone. Don't scrub. Don't saturate the stitching or wear until they are fully dry.

Perhaps some kiddo dropped it on the ground....otherwise, I have no idea!

It is a light beige, so that is an issue=

Watch it doesn't pull the finish off and make nicks. The hot water method is the gentlest. You can use shoe whiteners if the red stained the leather or take it to a leather cleaners.
