To people younger than you, you look old. To people older than you, you look young. Simple as that. I remember when I thought 8th graders looked old. Now when I look at someone in their 20s they look like a young kid to me.
This^
It's all relative, a moving target so to speak.
Can't recall the title, but I picked up book at library & it fell open to a page that said something to the effect of:
"you will never again be as young as you are today, and today you are the oldest you have ever been"
-both true statements, self-evident, but they still struck me as worthy of pontification/philosophizing.
One may regularly (across the lifespan) compare one's self at current age with one's self at younger age, and feel "old", sheerly by dint of still being alive to make such comparisons.

Stop. Just accept you are getting older. Getting older is good. I'm 23 too and people call me ma'am. I am glad they call me ma'am and not little girl. Besides, if you don't want to look old, just take care of your health and skin. I take care of my skin and people think I'm 18-21. I rarely drink, don't smoke, wear moisturizer and cleanse my skin well, exfoliate, etc. etc.
There isn't anything bad with getting older as long as you are taking care of yourself. Look at Anderson Cooper. He is in his 40's and he is hot!
Botox does make people look younger...beyonce gets it and she looks 20
She's fit and she has mostly nice skin. But you can see the lines starting to form around her mouth at the Super Bowl Halftime show. It doesn't snap back immediately as young skin would. I say she looks her age.
