Does the combination of a yellow button-up shirt, with dark grey tweed pants, black belt and black shoes sound acceptable? I'm not too sure how i feel about it but I look best in yellow and I love these tweed pants.
without seeing the actual clothes together I think that could work well in theory. I use grey and yellow together a lot in interior design and love that combo.
My gut tells me that brown shoes/belt would look better than black (brown shoes with gray tweed is generally very nice), and would soften the look so you don't look like a traffic sign.
