Holy freak, what is wrong with you? Since when is a woman only a woman if she fits a certain body type? The body you describe isn't that of a 12 year old or a bird, so I would thank you to stop using such ignorant, hateful, offensive terms. The body you describe is that of a normal, adult woman who may not fit into what you consider the way a woman should look, but who gave you license to decide what an entire gender should and should not look like? Shockingly, women do not exist merely to turn you on so STOP treating us like objects.

I know you get a kick out of making a thread out of every fleeting thought that passes through your head, but maybe next time pause and actually think for more than ten seconds what you're saying because this thread is the most vile, sexist POS that I've read in awhile.

Hi all--

I don't get it either. I don't find it particularly attractive. Most of my buddies and I are in agreement (with a few exceptions) all wanted a woman with curves and something to hold onto.

Just go to Facebook and look for a group called "Curvy girls are better than skinny girls" - it has millions of fans.

I think what the OP was saying is how there are alot of women who want to look like a skinny 12 year old girl with womans boobs. I'm thinking models are the cause. They are usually stick thin with no boobs or butts and a certain type of woman who reads the glamour mags try to emulate this look where the fashion hangs off their bodies.
I love women of all shapes and sizes what matters is how they carry it, meaning their personalities and attitude.
A woman is supposed to have curves and I think most guys will agree.

Geez, no need to get your panties in a bunch. It was just my opinion/my own observation, I'm not asking that you agree with it.

The OP can make a thread about anything he wants as long as it's not inappropriate or against the rules. If you don't like a certain thread, just ignore it and move on. You need to learn to get over it. Getting upset and worked up over something you can't control is pointless and a waste of time. It doesn't do anything.

It is true that a lot of women try to make themselves look stick skinny, it's not just some stupid "generalization".

With images of "beauty" and "sexiness" shoved down our throats non-stop from birth to death, nobody truly knows what he or she would have naturally found attractive without the influence of said images. I have found in my own life that the further I distance myself from television, movies, magazines, etc. the more healthy my ideas of beauty become. The malnourished with giant boobs look is mainly pushed by the pornography industry. You don't see this figure type much in fashion or even amongst actresses. I would say the more exposure to pornography one has (and I use the term pornography very broadly) the more that particular look will tend to be the desired ideal.

Have you ever read The Screwtape Letters? There is a very interesting section of that book that examines the ever-changing yet always unattainable beauty ideals that women are held to and men are brainwashed into desiring. We might say it is all about money - if women are constantly chasing an unattainable ideal there is plenty of money to be made off their doomed pursuit. The Screwtape Letters is about the devil and his demons, so it proposes the concept that all of this is designed by the forces of evil to keep humans unfulfilled and distracted. It struck a chord for me.

why do so many women aspire to have the bodies of 12 year olds with big boobs?..maybe it's because the only role models they have are some plastic movie stars, who for some strange reason figure thin is in...even to the ridiculous point of emaciation. I (personally) think it has something to do with wanting to be seen as vulnerable, kinda like...look at me, I need a man to take care of me...I'm weak as a child, but I've got a big set so you'll know I'm not..Some men like their women weak and dependent.

This isn't about an opinion, this is about your sexist and insulting tone. There's a thread on the exercise board asking why so many women want to have slim hips. Not insulting, not demeaning to any one body type, just a question. What's not okay is referring to one of the many normal variations in the female form as prepubescent or bird like. It's rude, objectifying, and you should know better. This question is no different than asking "Why are so many women shaped like whales?" Or "why do so many men shave their faces to look like little boys?" Or "why do so many men want to look gay by wearing purple shirts?" It's idiotic and it's not okay.

Of course a toned, slim and tucked tummy is still the ideal, and a slim waist. Narrow shoulders and a bony, weak looking upper body is also the order of the day.

I see not only models but women with this body type being held up as the ideal. Women who are talk and lanky, for instance, are often seen as sexy or beautiful. Decades ago they would've been considered unattractive. It seems the ideal shape in the 90s was more curvy/more womanly. A lot of the Miss Universe contestants look like skinny hairless birds in the swimsuit comp, although they are sexy, I think I prefer a bit more flesh on there, although if it's your natural body shape you can't help it.
Women like to emulate what they see on the cover of fashion magazines. Unfortunately, homosexual men run the fashion industry and prefer women that look like adolescent boys (weak upper body, narrow hips, skinny arms and legs).

If you want to see what a real man finds sexually attractive, take a look at a common jack rag sometime (Club International, Penthouse or Hustler - not Playboy). The women in there typically have some meat on their bones, a traditional hourglass figure and an ample bosom. Men buy those magazines for one reason and I can assure you it isn't for sports commentary and politics.

I have also observed that women's magazines like Cosmopolitan go a long way to destroying a woman's self-esteem as well. Their covers typically show an emaciated woman with breast implants and collagen-injected lips surrounded by "how to please your man in bed", "20 sex secrets you should know" and the like. All I see when looking at the cover of one of these is a message that a woman's sole purpose in life is sexual gratification for men, and she better have a next-to-impossible body type to achieve it.

No wonder teen girls are so messed up.

You're looking at that form one racial viewpoint, thinking that your ethnic group's middle age is normal. Normal for you. If you looked from the point of, say, an asian woman raised on a Japanese diet, there is a different normal for whats normal. She'd be thinking "why do so many white women want to look like they've got accelerated aging and obesity? They must really work at that".
