As I've gotten older, I can't get away with wearing certain types of eyeshadow. The ones in the stores usually have a shimmer to them. What brands of matte cream eyeshadow would you suggest I look for?

Try Clinique "Touch Base". I started out using it as a base for keeping eye shadow "set" most all day. Now I use it often for just a shadow with a soft eyeliner and a good mascara. (it comes in 4 or 5 subtle complexion colors). It's not too creamy and stays put; if you want to put tinted eye shadeow over it, Clinique has some beautiful subtle shades. Everyone I've mentioned it to loves it. It's about $12 or so.

Thanks so much, I'll have to try Clinique, since I'm not having very good luck with drug store shadows.
