I have been using Mary Kay for years!! I really like the foundation and am very happy with how long it lasts. My skin is very sensitive...like if I scratch my arm I will have a huge red mark for at least 30 minutes to an hour. So finding a good foundation has never been one task I've looked forward to. I like MK but my friend who sold it moved away. I know I could probably find a local dealer as well but I usually buy it on Ebay, 3 at a time, just because I can find it cheaper.
Any ideas on other good foundations I could try? We do have an Ulta by us and I've wanted to go in there but am terrified to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to foundation.
I like Clinique products. Currently, I am using their superbalanced make-up. They are fragrance-free (which I like). That might help you with the sensitivity issue-I don't know.
I also like Clinique, and believe they are all part of Estee Lauder company. But usually use Origins, since they are available where I live. Just started using retinol product by Clinique, and can already tell is fading some of the discolorations in my face!!
MAC is over the counter and you can find it at Nordstroms or higher tier Macy's. They also have a web-site. It is terrific make-up! However, I recently tried Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals and will now use nothing else! I absolutely love the coverage, the various ways you can wear it, and it never, never, never rubs off on my turtlenecks!!
Here's a question for those which prefer the mineral make-up.
Do you guys think it settles into the "wrinkles" ?
I have heard from users trying it, that the fine "dust" combines with your skin oil, and just settles into the creases and wrinkles, actually accentuating them more.
Any experience with that at all???
