Has anyone tried Revlon's new Colorstay lipstick yet ? I've never returned any cosmetic, but CVS will take back cosmetics that don't live up to claims ... I paid $12 for a tube yesterday and it'sdefinitely going back. Very disappointing, dry, wears right off, feathers, and looks odd.

Revlon discontinued their Moon Drops line in the green case recently, and I know several friends as well as myself who really want it back. I'll pay more for Elizabeth Arden or Estee Lauder lipsticks rather than hit or miss with Revlon from now on.

I have tried the Colorstay and found it no different than any other, non-color stay, lipstick. It wore off within the hour and left marks on cups, straws, etc.

Now, my all time favorite lipstick is Revlon Colorstay OVERTIME in the color Bare Maximum. This is one of those that you paint the color on, let it dry and put the shiny, clear gloss over it. This is the perfect color for me (redhead) and lasts right through lunch. I buy it in bulk from Amazon for about $7.

And yes, CVS takes make up back and I've only had to do it once when I accidentally grabbed the wrong foundation.

I don't use drugstore makeup so I have no experience with those lipsticks. I prefer YSL lipsticks.

Oh well ... can't be loyal to Revlon anymore.

$12 for a Revlon lipstick? I'd spend $3 more and get a MAC.

Try MAC. You won't be disappointed, and you can sample them before you buy.
I love their lip glass line.
I am olive skin toned and thought I could NEVER wear RED lipstick.
MAC is the only line of red color
That looks awesome on me.

( every woman HAS to have a red lipstick)

I like Revlon colorstay lipsticks. I like the newer ones that don't have a separate gloss. They stay on all day for me. I've let my 7 year old try them for fun and they stay on her for several days.

I've found that all the long wearing lipsticks really dry out my lips. I do better with a blotting a quality regular lipstick.

I'd spend $10 less and buy Wet 'n' Wild.
