Not sure why this comes as a surprise... Plus I am not sure what appeals to men who watch porn is their pretty faces. I thought it lied more in their "skills" and "attributes".

Do men really expect the "reality" to be just as it is on the screen ? Are they really that stupid ?

Most women look more polished with ( a little not masses of it) make-up so it's not only porn "actresses" to be fair. The idea of physical perfection is a myth.

Yes some women are natural beauties but on the whole most of us need a little help. And what you see in magazines or on the screen is not real.... Big Shock there !

I keep seeing images for Perfume adverts of photo-shopped celebrities who basically do not have human skin as we know it but blemishless, flawless "latex" instead. I have actually seen photos of women in recent years with NO lines.

Even babies have lines, even fresh, youthful lovely, beautiful stunning 16 year old girls have some lines on the skin, and pores.

The most beautiful skin needs to breathe and thus has pores. And lines are natural. But we are increasing sold the lie that some women are simply not human basically.... And some people really buy that ?!?!

That is if they have the features to accentuate to begin with.
If they don't have them, no make up will help.
I've noticed in these particular pictures make-up worked for some ( dramatically so,) but some still remained unattractive, make-up or not.

Ol' Melissa Murphy sure gets around, don't she?

At some point, too much makeup makes any of these women look like a tranny... imo.

I think so too, but you'd be surprised how many guys I see with women that look like the picture on the right, especially in major American cities and in Europe. I often wonder, if they have poor vision or if they're genuinely into the tranny look.

I think its very interesting that there is another thread going on that says women shouldnt wear makeup because they look soooo much better without it.

Then we have this thread that calls women not wearing makeup 'beasts and monsters'.

Then you wonder why so many women don't want to leave the house without makeup....wouldn't want to be called hosebeasts by perfect strangers now would we??

Okay I must be completely out of the 'norm' here but I think that many of these women look worse with makeup. It looks like many of them had their faces roughly exfoliated right before the "no makeup" pics... sure, people have uneven skin tone and blotchiness but it seems to be played up or made worse artificially (?) because they seem to have lots of redness and their skin just looks irritated. Maybe it would be better if the photos were taken when they had relaxed, natural skin without makeup on it.

And one chick doesn't even have EYEBROWS so yeah, that's kind of a problem for her that makes it impossible for her to look okay without at least drawing those suckers back on.

The thing I noticed most is that the makeup makes many of them look older. Also they look bitchy. The makeup style is so "vampy" that the overall look is hard and intimidating. Not someone I would approach to ask directions or borrow a pen.

I think most of these women would look great with just some very basic, minimal makeup to even out their skin tone and add a tiny bit of color to their lips. Somewhere in between the "before" and "after" photos. I realize it is for "on screen" but the "after" is just so overdone and I see a LOT of girls/women who adopt that same look all the time. It's just not attractive to me at all.
