I like them a lot. There are far worse things to spend your money on than a good set of footwear. If they are comfortable and you take good care of them they could last a very long time. I just finally had to throw away a pair of Fry boots I had for over 20 years. I think the replacement cost is around $300.

Hmmmm I just looked at the Frye site and they have some nice ones too. Dammit...
Good boots/ shoes can last well iv over 10 yrs. Cheap boots at $50 for 1 yr times 10 years = $500. More expensive than $300 boots that last more than 10 yrs, look better and feel better. Only problem is if you have the $300 now.
If you are male, yes. If you are female I find wing tips of any kind a tad too masculine for my tastes.
$300 isn't bad for a good pair of shoes or boots but at that price China as the country made in should not be on the label. They should be a nice quality leather made in Italy or Spain or better yet American made but that is becoming harder and harder to find especially in foot wear
Personally I don't like them and outside of that I would never pay $300.00 for one item of any article of clothing or footwear. I don't think they are flattering at all however, if you like them and are comfortable wearing them and don't mind paying the price I hope you enjoy them.
