I like Mrs. Obama. I think she's pretty and smart.

However, I really think her new hairstyle is a wig. That's fine, but it really should be thinned out and frame her face more softly. Maybe it just looks strange on television, but the side of her face where the bangs are split showing her forehead looks a lot better than the other side where it is just one mass of hair.

Now, it might be her hair because it seems to be getting longer, so I'm not glued to this wig theory.

I thought these people had stylists at their beck and call who did their hair every morning.

I posted it here because it has to do with fashion and I want to avoid all the Obama bashing on some other forums.

A link to a photo would be nice.

When I've seen photos of her I've never thought she looked like she was wearing a wig. I think she's quite lovely.

Link please.

And it is most likely her hair. She has very thick, healthy hair.

No link fro you. I just see her on tv since we watch political news often. It's a mop, but as I've said, it could just be the tv.

Based on the texture (in the picture posted above), it looks like afro-textured hair (type 4a/b) that has been blown dry and flat ironed.

I think a wig is pretty evident in this photo.

Speaking as a black woman, trust me, that's her hair. And FYI, ALL Black women do NOT wear fake hair.

She is keeping her hair at basically the same length yet the styling is different. This does not equal wig wearing.

I love the do with bangs. Hell, I'd give anything for that much hair.
