Between those two pictures, Taylor Momsen's hair looks better. Beyond shoulder length looks better than shorter on almost every pre-menopausal white, Asian, or Indian woman.

I like long hairs but it's completely a matter of choice.

Long hair. Women dont look good with short hair. Some women are so beautiful that they still look good like Anne Hathaway but its generally a bad idea.

Long and straight or wavy but not curly....SOFT is more important though. NO crunchy hair!

Rarely do I like short hair on a girl...although Keira Knightley rocked the short hair in Domino....best she ever looked!

Celebrity Character favs;

Nurse Lt. Evelyn Johnson/Kate Beckinsale/Pearl Harbor
Pepper Potts/Gweneth Paltrow/Iron Man
Domino Harvey/Keira KnightlyDomino
Daisy Duke/Jessica Simpson/Dukes of Hazzard 2005
Any Character Zooey Deschanel plays

Short, like to the chin or neckline. I can't stand really long hair on women. I call it "Barbie hair" and it looks fake and trashy to me. Especially the over-done mops that I see many women sporting these days. Almost like an animal crawled up and died on their head.

Sophisticated, urbane, intellectual, and chic is more my type. Hence, my preference for short hair.

Did you see Pamela Anderson's very very short haircut?
My husband saw it while watching Mario Lopez and Maria Menonous' program after the 6:30 news.
He said she looked great with the completely over/above the ears pixie.
I saw it by googling and she looks great with it as lord knows she has the face and figure.
I'll say she looks really good, and classy, and less like the Baywatch bimbo as she is often mistakenly stereotyped as being.

Short. Usually indicates a better chance of brain activity.

For me, it never depends upon the woman. Since my earliest days, I have always fancied stick straight shiny dark hair.

Now the hairline completely depends upon the woman. Some can pull off the upside down U hairline and others can get away with a widow's peak or high hairline, but in general, I like very low hairlines.

It's not as important as it once was, but during the breeding years, it was key! Hair count, texture, and line were the first things I looked at on a woman. Italian women generally had the best heads of hair.

For what it's worth, that's my opinion.

Cheers,
bolillo

Through out the years I have learn to work with my hair, my hair doesn't hold a curl, spent years and money trying get it to do something other then what it was...Thankfully in the last 7 years I had great cuts that work with straight hair and require no curling , just air dry and go... I'm 50 so I wear it just below my shoulders
