If men ever wear short skirts, they better choose the right underwear. Otherwise, that's a "wardrobe malfunction" waiting to happen.

Default Equality for all

About skirts on men because women wear pants...a skirt is a useless thing. We wear pants because they're more functional. You can climb a ladder, change a tire, ride a bike, etc. Pants have pockets, if you're lucky. Skirts are sometimes too narrow to take a real step in, they have no pockets, sometimes they zip in the back, the long ones are really warm to wear, the short ones make you be really careful of how you sit, bend over, walk, etc. Basically a skirt limits you, and I can't see the average guy wanting to be limited like that.
Can we have some equality?

If women may wear jeans, why is it not o.k. for men to wear skirts?

Especially when the weather is very warm?

Yes, you don't go down the street, in Scotland, and see loads of men doing their shopping in kilts!

The only time I have personally seen this, is when Scottish rugby fans come to Wales and a load of them are dressed up in kilts for the occasion.

I almost feel sorry for men, that in the hot weather, they can't wear a nice cool skirt!

It might, but I doubt it. Now, I don't mind the Scottish kilts - the "uniform look" has appeal. But lately I've seen dudes wear kiltish skirts in other colors, and I simplly cannot get used to it. To me it looks a bit silly.

Men are allowed to go right outside with no shirt on in hot weather. Women are not. Where's the quality for that?

Technically, men can wear skirts/kilts/sarongs. Not to say they won't get some looks, but they can wear whatever they want.

SO has the better looking legs! I did replace pool towels with sarongs - looks better and takes less space in the washer.
