My mum passed away when I was young and I'd really like to find her old perfume, all I remember is the bottom was a dark blue sphere shape and the lid was a dark brown cone shape with circles spiraling around it. I remember the led being quite large and possibly slightly bigger than the bottle its self. If you have any idea please help. She could have bought it from about 2000-2005 (possibly even earlier) in the uk or possibly canada.Thank you!

Try google images, enter "blue perfume bottle" and see if you can pick it up that way.

I've tried that. I've googled so many things and I've had no luck. But there's got to be someone out there who knows.

What type of smell is it?

Woody, oriental, floral?

Sorry for you to lose your mom btw.

It was a strong scent. It was pretty but not a sweet smell. It was almost a mix of musk and floral I guess. I can't really remember too well which is why I'd like to get ahold of some to remember. I can remember it in my head but explaining it is difficult And thankyou

Smell is very evocative, it must be driving you nuts.

I found this site, maybe they can help - there's a forum there.

Is there anything about any of these that looks familiar? Even if none of them are your mom's perfume, are any of the shapes or colors on the right track?

Sun Moon & Stars by Lagerfeld

Myrna Pons Rosa (this bottle was available with a few slightly different caps)

Midnight Butterfly, by Marks and Spencer?

It's not quite a sphere, but the lid matches your description of a brown cone:

Good for you, Kayanne! When I read OP's original post, it was the first thing I thought of. Yes, I think it's Evening in Paris, too. It fits the OP's description. My mother always had a bottle on her makeup table, when I was growing up.
