Euphoria and Red Door probably are of equal strength, but Red Door just seems over powering to me. I'm not knocking Red Door, it's a classic, it's just not for me...

Oh yes, Cashmere! I haven't purchased it, but I had a sample and thought it was wonderful.

The kind that stays in the bottle.

I do like perfume, but 90% of people wear way to much of it. The only time someone else should notice it is when you are less than a foot away. That is what makes it a sensual experience.

If I can tell someone was in an elevator an hour ago - it really loses its appeal.

I'm a guy, so I like light citrusy smelling colognes. Also Vetiver.

Two of my favorites: Eau d'Orange Vert by Hermes and Eau Imperiale by Guerlain.

I love notes as intense as sandalwood in a fragrance, but I also like notes as light as honeysuckle (not together, though!)

#1 Poppy by Coach Sweetly scented jasmine and gardenia blend with fresh cucumber and candied rose petals in a pretty, lighthearted fragrance.

#2 Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier - In the top notes delicate rose scent is spiced by fresh anis. Middle notes combine sweetness of orange blossom and exciting ginger, a powerful aphrodisiac. Vanilla and sensual amber gently embrace in the base.

#3 Parisienne by YSL - A voluptuous floral accord of violet, damask rose and tart blackberry seems to tell the whole story. But then comes the fullness of sandalwood, deepened by musk and brightened by peonies, tying the end notes to the ones beginning.

What kind of Vetiver?
Vetiver de Carven or different type?

Both Carven's and Guerlain's Vetiver colognes for men are considered good and true classics (Guerlain's is a little more citrusy) but they* say the very best vetiver colognes are by Creed or Vetiver Extraordinaire by Frederic Malle. Both of these are very pricey - over $150 a bottle and I can't afford it.

*reviewers in the fragrance site called Basenotes.
