My guess is that kit is annoyed the "plus size lingerie" models have the same size ribcage as she does, since she is "skinny".

By extension, this compromises her identity as a "skinny" person.

The thing is, measurements do not make someone "thin" or "fat." Body composition does.

However, if they came out and said 'I'm a 28H' people would flip out and the shaming would begin. I've had it happen to myself on several occasions. Hell, I've heard people say DD cups are only for 'wh*res' and 'skanks'... I mean, really? But it happens.
thats stupid, why would some say that?

I personally will not date anyone under a C cup, and that's natural C by the way.

It is very very common. Women over a certain bust size are perceived as thampy or stupid or inelegant or all 3.

that's stupid...all it is is insecure women feeling threatened that's all. I guess it would be the same for the guys if one made a remark about someone having too big of a penis I suppose. I can't date someone with small boobs, sorry nope not going to happen. lol.

I'm about to return a boat load of VS bras because the 32 band is just not supportive at all.
You're not a size 4.

At any rate, I'm 5'11 140 pounds and have a 30 under bust. At my skinniest, 112 I was a 28 so you don't add a lot of fat to your under bust even if you gain weight, at least I didn't.

Basically the waist is wider than the rib cage it makes them look lovehandleprone.

They look to be between 32 - 34(DDD)F or G's. I'm in that league, so I can easily recognize "them" ;-)

Most of the comments about me have come from men, not women. When I'm seeing someone I'm VERY hesitant to tell them my bra size because it DOES change people's perceptions of you. They can see your bust and know it's size, but once a number like 36H is put to it it can make people uncomfortable. Most people (especially men)think bra sizes end at 36DD and anything above that is for strippers and porn stars.

I had lovehandles when I was 120 lbs at 6'1. I've known very thin women to have lovehandles whose waists are much narrower than their ribcage.
