I agree.
Men's fashion is so simple especially now they can just to a club just wearing t- shirt and trainers unlike 15 years ago that men had to dress up more ( good button collar shirt and leather shoes ) in a club. The hiphop trend is getting worst, the fashion is getting less and less.

As a rule, women are more fashion-conscience and into shopping. Guys usually don't spend that much time thinking or worrying about what they are going to wear.

The fashion industry knows that women love to shop and buy new clothes and that brings in the money.

Well it is well said women's shopping alot and lot of variety available in market in women clothes. They always need to wear new dress for every occasion like wedding, parties, or offices. and they are more consious about their dressing as compare to men's. Men's dressing is simple, they usually wear one t-shirt, one jeans all the days.

It actually appears that the Hip Hop trend, while still influential on male fashion, has pretty much run its course as the dominant force. It seems that more styles are becoming popular with men having a little more fashion freedom, like they had in the '80s.

It's a "female" outlook says you have to have something new for every important occasion. Men seem to have left that way of thinking behind a couple of centuries ago.

It's about what sells and brings in the most money. A man's outfit can last for years. All he needs is a new tie and another white shirt for work. Plain tees and jeans can take care of the casual look. How many of those does a person need??

When you think about how long it takes to think up a new fashion for the year, how long to buy and produce the item, deliver it to stores, and then run ads, have shows, etc to make that "look" fashionable", you have to wonder about the WHY that style and fashion is so popular. And women wonder why men think that some of us are brainless.

I've noticed this too. Men's clothing is sooo boring. I hate shopping for men. Everything looks the same and comes in about 3-5 colors. That's it.

Same with boys clothes. I am due to have a boy (any day now) and browsing through stores, girls' clothes are so varied in styles, colors and frills. All the boys clothes look the same.

I've also noticed women's fashioned has changed a ton whereas for men I see them wearing many of the same styles I noticed as a preteen in the early 2000s.

Partially because men won't by stuff that's significantly different. I'm not going to buy something that's trendy and looks dated "next season." Women seem to have no problem doing that.
