She said she'd just lost a lot of weight and was thrilled to be in a bikini. So she was showing off. She was not exercising good judgment, she was carried away with herself. And the park staff called her on it.

I thought string styles were banned period from those types of places? But others had the same thing on?
I am all about calling people out but she just looked like someone wearing a bathing suit and rather normal. Its not like it was a micro top/bottom.

She is not a young teen, there are many more age-appropriate bathing suits for the water park (and I don't mean matronly and old lady swim suits)
But her body still looks matronly, no matter how many pounds she lost.
Could this be taken into consideration when looking for an approprate attire for water-park?

I think the top is too small but not obscenely so. Ironically, they asked her to put shorts on.

I think they were totally out of line if others were wearing the same thing.

I don't think she necessarily looked matronly--she just didn't look like the teenagers that she referenced. We do not know if the teens were also asked to cover up or leave, but I am sure that her being asked to cover up or leave was precipitated by a complaint from someone(s) other than staff. Her attire was appropriate for the beach, which is not a family-oriented water park.

As someone who has a home in SXM, where there are clothing-optional and topless beaches, I am certainly used to seeing everything, even when it is too much. However, good common sense has to prevail. She did not use it. It is great that she lost over 100 pounds and is to be celebrated, but her clothing should in some way reflect not only her personality and her excitement, but also age appropriateness. Her top was over the top and it looked like it was barely hanging on. I really wonder what her teenage daughter thought. Maybe she reported it.

If others were wearing the same cut of top, then it was wrong to pick on her.

I do feel that a triangle top is an impractical and attention seeking style to wear to a family water park (the guy who thinks it is "perfectly modest" and "much more modest than others" must have been looking at a different suit than the one I saw.) But that doesn't matter, really.

I see this a lot in people who have lost a lot of weight.

They feel SO much smaller that they don't have a realistic perception of what they REALLY look like.

Of course all the men think she looks fine.

Not sure what the issue is. I imagine many other people were wearing similar outfits. she was appropriately covered, so should not be a problem.

The question isn't, whether or not it was age appropriate or practical.

They were overreacting.
