I don't personally like the bikini, but it was totally ridiculous and inconsistent to single her out.

I think the bikini mom at the water park looks more appropriate than this woman who is going shopping at Walmart. I see examples of women like this almost every time I go to Walmart in the summer.

This 42 year-old woman, (she looks much older than that,) goes to a FAMILY PARK with her teen daughter, showing more than she should. And she gets angry and difficult because she was told to cover up. She is exhibiting no common sense, for an adult, and as a parent. That she lost weight does not mean, that gives her the right to dress like a lady- of- the- night.
A FAMILY PARK full of male teenagers whose hormones are flowing. She is embarrassing her daughter, as well, and teaching her the same values she is exhibiting. If she is jumping around, her bosoms are too. This is okay, if instead of going to the F/|P, she was going to a bar to seek a one-night-stand. Because that is all she will find.......
I believe that women's rights for SOME women, have gone too far in their minds, that they cannot longer decipher what is correct, and what is wrong. There is a dress code of decency for whatever it is that they are going to do. And many women are refusing to follow through with it, because "SEXY" is in. But, some women fail to realize SEXINESS has a place. In the bed, with their significant other, or at a bar for a one-night- stand......
Have anyone of you have ever visited a club for dancing and socializing, in a big city? Most of the woman are wearing dresses so tight and short, that the bosom and the derriere meet together, and when they dance with their arms up............they show everything......and many of these woman are adults. A lot of this has to do with having breasts' augmentation, as well as derriere augmentation, losing weight, and wanting to show it off in order to get themselves a man, because there are more women without partners today, since 50% of the men are married, 35% are gay, and 15% are substance abusers......so the pool of men is very limited......this is ONE of the reasons why SOME women are going after married men.....get ready to share yours....Morals have declined......and for some women are non-existing.....
So, today, you have the 19 something competing with the 40 plus......except that in this society, the 19 something, always win.
The less a woman shows in an outfit, the more she leaves to the imagination of the male species.
I went to a Lord & Taylor store in the East Coast. The salesgirl behind the counter had a decolletage so low, that made me feel embarrassed, and I have large breasts, but no reason to show them to the world, except to my husband.....

You are living in the 1920s my friend. It's now 2013. You need to change with the times and adjust your way of thinking as well. Glad to hear you dress like an old maid. I do not and I'm 38.
I come from Miami and yes we do dress like that when we go to a club. It's the norm. Obviously its not where you are from. I don't go out hunting for married men. Sorry to say but it's women like you that are causing men to go out and have affairs with someone who is being sexy and not afraid to show it. I have a rocking body and I like to show it off. There's nothing wrong it at all. Stay at home with your husband as a hermit or buy the two of you some horse blinders if you don't like what's going on in public. Or better yet don't frequent those types of places.

3.5% of men are gay, not 35%.
Assuming that the mom in the story is looking for a one night stand, or trying to attract a married man, just because she's wearing a bikini, is kind of far-fetched.

Wow! That's all of us, a full 100%. Guess you single ladies are all out of luck. How sad!
By the way, we men usually and assiduously avoid misandrists. .

Agreed, she probably has poor sense, and was wearing something inappropriate, no doubt providing a free show... But, make everyone wear shorts, and cover up, or leave it alone.

You are right, and there are two subjects going on here.
One is whether she was dressed appropriately for her age and body, and the answer is no.
Two is did the people at the water park have the right to eject her, and the answer is no. It is very bad manners to embarrass someone like that. She was doing a good enough job of embarrassing herself already.

Obviously the watermark needs to clarify their policy. You can't just kick people out because you don't like their outfit.
PS, do you think she was actually partaking in the water park activities? I m ow my mom never did. She might have wadded in the pool or sat on the lounge chair. She never actually wet on the slides. Maybe a visit to the lazy river on a rare occasion.
On an autocorrecting iDevice.

And the autocorrecting iDevice needs a wider vocabulary.
But as for whether they can "kick people out because you don't like their outfit"--would it be OK if a man wore a Speedo? Imagine if he were middle-aged and not particularly slim, and there were complaints from other customers. I can easily see him being invited to wear more clothing or leave the place.

It is the exact same thing, I think, but nobody would ask a man in a Speedo to leave the pool. A Speedo is a legitimate bathing suit. Are they unsightly? Usually. That is why they were wrong to eject the woman.
