Yeah, most likely...

I just recall seeing hand bags that had the LV symbols on it and thought, what's the big deal... it looks like some cheap crap you'd get at a strip mall...... But, I suppose I'm not the demographic that the designers are shooting for.....

To each their own.... someone else made the car analogy, some like Lexus and others like Kia's......

I have spent $400. about 15 years ago. I am waiting for the kids to grow up to buy my first LV. Probably will spend a thousand at the most. Right now I buy Coach, Tumi, Kate Spade on sale and at outlets.

$0 sounds about right. It's.... A BAG. What people blow their $$$ on is just amazing. This is America.... you have the right to waste money on whatever you'd like. Just don't complain when the money is gone.

The bags at the Coach outlet stores are specifically made for Coach Outlet and are of a much inferior quality than Coach retail. I went to the Coach outlet one time to see if I could find something good.... hated it!! Sticking zippers; threads hanging all over; cheap/crappy/thin leather; horrible hardware.... not for me.

They sell the regular store bags too. You have to have good timing and know how to look. I have scored some deals on boutique bags.

I've spent $400 on a beautiful leather Coach bag, purchased directly from the retail store. That was seven years ago and with care over the years, it still looks brand new.

I've spent $15 on a bright blue Target bag because I liked the color. It lasted me a summer then wore out, but who cares?

It just depends -- my everyday purse these days is a large canvas Coach Poppy tote that I got from the outlet store for under $200. It's not as well made as my $400 leather bag, but it's still extremely sturdy, well-made, and with plenty of room for everything I need (I work downtown and don't have access to my car during the day, so the ability to carry a maximum of things in a minimum of bags is important).

However, that purse replaced a $30 Target tote that I carried daily for seven months until it completely wore out.

I wouldn't spend $1000 on a purse, but that's my preference -- I would rather put that amount of money elsewhere. More power to you if you feel differently.

Not all. Coach Outlet carry limited number of purses from their regular store, from few season back/one year old collection. 99% of these purses are leather purses.
It's easy to check if specific bag was made for outlet - check the serial number inside the bag and if that number contains F (for Factory) in it - that bag was never sold anywhere except Coach Outlet and was specifically made for outlet store with poor quality and cheaper materials and possible diffects.

I like coach boutique bags. Always leather NEVER with the C's. I have about 10, and sell one or two to make room for a new one. I have a michael kors but I never use it. Maybe I will sell it, it is lovely leather.

Typically I hit the deletes at the outlet store so I rarely spend more than $100-150.

I switch purses every few days, sometimes every day. They are just another accessory. Most women don't wear the same shoes EVERY day either.

I probably max out at around $200. I have a few that I bought either second hand or at outlets that retail for around $400. I wouldn't say I'd never ever spend a certain amount. If I liked a bag enough I might buy it regardless of cost, but generally I have things I'd rather spend 1k on than a bag.
