Any guesses how your purse ended up at the thrift store?

I just spent $300 for a handbag, the most I have ever spent. I had purchased the same brand a couple of years ago for $150-200 at a great sale but have not been able to find one since at that kind of price. So finally just gave up and paid full price. But I considered it my birthday present.

Most of the time I don't use a purse, but if I do, it's one I purchased on sale for around $10.00.

I have a handful of bags that were 300-500$. I can't justify spending the money for myself so they were all purchased by someone else for my birthday or Christmas, etc.

I've been carrying less expensive bags that I buy for myself and they are 50$ max, usually 20$.

I bought a Fossil bag early last spring. I loved it, and dithered a bit, but finally paid full price and bought it. Fossils are perfect for me. Not ornamented up, but quite functional and good quality.

Even when I was buying cheaper bags, I'd keep them for several years. I usually change mine out with the seasons. And I prefer cross body bags for every day.

I paid $146 for my Fossil, and it is the most I've ever spent on a bag. I usually try to find bags at discount.

If you spend big bucks on a handbag you obviously want to protect it. But until I saw Guilt Trip I had never heard of purse hooks, to keep them off the floor.

$35-$$40, max. I don't value purses in general. If it's cute, holds my makeup, wallet, lotion, comb, brush, and maybe a small bottle of water, and it's cheap, then I'll buy it. I never saw the value in spending $$-$$$$ for designer bags, or any handbag, for that matter.

I'll only spend between $20.00-$30.00 for a new handbag.

I prefer spending more on shoes, clothes, entertainment stuff, etc.
