They took care of their skin, it's not that hard.

My step-mother is as pale as can be and looks better than Sharon Stone. She is 70. Stayed out of the sun and used good skin products.
In reality, it's not that white women take less care of their skin than black or other ethnic women. The real culprit is simply the lack of melanin. Melanin protects the skin from UV rays, whereby reducing the aging process.

Why is so important what other people find young or attractive? If other people find green skin and purple hair attractive what difference does it make to you?

I don't see people feeling as strong about their taste for fruits, colors or flavors as they feel for beauty.

Imagine this thread:
Poster A: Mangos are the best because they're juicy
Poster B: Wrong! No pears are better because they stay fresh longer than mangos
Poster C: Incorrect, peaches are better because they have prettier colors.

Well, some are taking this dudes obsession with Nordic type women offensively and feel the need to boost their ego putting us down

Right - but taking care of our skin we can achieve the same results as your natural Melanin.

FYI, I don't feel the need to put Caucasian women down....but you certainly don't make it a point to take a stand when Black and other ethnic women are being bashed.

Okay but lets be real, although this thread has focused on what seems to be an individuals obsession with "white" or blonde woman most of the sentiments here or online are fairly representative of the nation or world as a whole.

We are not post-racial. Bigotry and prejudice still exist. Black women and men and other dark skinned minorities still face obstacles that others do not.

The media and beauty industry still favor light skin and European features and looks. This is fairly commonly known. Good for you and your friends but what you describe is not the glass ceiling or closed doors that most people of color face on a daily basis.

I didn't see that happening - this dude has an obsession with a certain look. No one bashed any ethnicity.
