my husband lost his abs as he got into his late 20s it was a little flab then his belly expanded like a balloon when he was 59 but im loving him cause since his voice got deeper and hes loving and caring but he was ungrateful when he had his abs but developed a softer side when he met me and developed a softer stomach
i hope you know your side.. i thought thin men were good but they just ***** about my husband is like hugging me when i have bad stress

Key words being "SLIGHTLY". When I was young I preferred slightly under, these days I am older and my hubby is slightly over, and he is very squeezable.

But yeah, for me, personality trumps all - if he is smart, warm and funny and has a sexy voice and smile, that's all it takes to win me over!

Overweight chubby. Thin, skinny guys are a turn-off to me.

I think some posters are reading too much into this question. It's a given that any women with self worth, or not otherwise lacking in self esteem will want a guy who treats them right, has a great personality, etc. The OP didn't ask for all that. He asked a basic question. In general, do you prefer a man slightly underweight or slightly overweight. My answer is overweight: regardless if he's overweight due to excess fat or muscle, I think it's better than not weighing enough.
