Doesn't matter. My husband has been both - underweight when we first met and were married; overweight now. He also had longish hair when we met (looked like a cross between a young John Ritter and a young Harrison Ford) and now has it cut really short because his hairline was receding and to his credit he won't do a comb-over.

I love thick men.....
I couldn't be with a skinny guy.
I sooo enjoy being wrapped up in big strong arms.
The meatier he is, the better

I like men who are fit, but of the two options listed, I'd go with a guy who was a little overweight. I enjoy the feel of hugging that type of man .

All else being equal, I prefer a man who is in the ideal weight range for his height. Give me one who has a healthy body fat percentage (neither over- nor under-fat) and ISN'T a musclebound gym rat and I'm good.

If I had to choose between ten pounds underweight and ten pounds over, I suppose I'd pick ten pounds over, if only due to the fact that I date men 50+ and as age increases, being genuinely underweight correlates with a higher mortality rate.

In my personal dating experience, I've had slim, average and heavyset men. *shug* It all depends on personality for the most part, but a guy has to have a stellar personality if he's more than 20 pounds overweight or I probably won't be turned on by him. Ditto if he's really, really skinny.

I would sa overweight. My preference is generally for brawnier, thicker guys. V

That being said at the moment I am totally smitten with a skinny guy. He is also pretty narrow. Must be his dimples that are winning me over. *

*seriously personality / feeling connected / great conversation / positive attitude made me attracted.

Both are fine. No preference. I look for a good mind and a good heart.

I noticed lots of skinny guys have fat wives / girlfriends? the girls are so big I doubt he could carry her if he ever needed to save her life or carry her up some stairs

I think it's better for the man to be big & strong so he can protect his lady, kind of like a fireman, he needs to be strong enough to save lives and carry people, not skinny or underweight , a man should be a man.
