So I read A LOT of tabloids. I m a man. I am pretty manly, but my fiance thinks I look like a woman when reading gossip. I can't really help it, as I have been religiously reading them since I was 11, which was 2000.

I don't know where to put this thread, so sorry if it is out of place.

It's only weird if you don't work for Men in Black. Tabloids, for them, are essential in finding aliens....

Are you a Man in Black?

Otherwise it is just a bunch of trash and I am pretty sure full of a lot of un-truths.

Even stranger than an adult male reading a tabloid would be the sight of an 11-year old boy reading one! Hehe... Did you have to hide your reading habit from your dad and your buddies? I can just imagine the constant teasing you'd get getting caught by them with one of those magazines. At 11 I also had an interest in tabloids but the chance I got my hands on one my grandma snatched it away. Now that I'm older I understand why she did that.

Nothing wrong with it. Why not? If it makes you happy and you aren't hurting anybody - go for it.

Its not weird, its just a stupid hobby. Just about anything else is better. When I go grocery shopping, I read the nutrition facts for everything I buy. I like comparing the name brand to store brand to see if theres any real difference. To most women, THAT'S wierd.

I think you might be surprised at the number of men who browse the tabloids while standing at our checkout lines, lol. I put it at the same level as watching 'reality' TV. Guilty little pleasures, mindless entertainment for a few moments, no biggie.

Is it weird that women read them?

I don't think it's weird. Reading a tabloid is no different than clicking on a gossip or entertainment blog, reading celebrity Tweets, following a celebrity's Facebook page, or watching celebrity gossip on TV via shows like ET and Access Hollywood.
