I have a couple of friends who are a bit on the short side, about 5'6. They are kinda insecure cause of their height.
Myself, I'm a modest 5'11 and grateful for every inch. I'm 5 inches taller than my dad and 10 taller than my mom. I definitely got lucky to be this tall.
With online dating, I see ALOT of women post something like:
"Need to be 6ft+, got to wear my high heels!"
I'm sure most women don't want to date a man shorter than them. However, how about if hes only 2-3 inches taller?

I am 5 7 and would not have a problem dating a little shorter. What I don't like is when men add a few inches to their actual height which I have found some do. It is better to be honest and be confident with who you are

It's probably a deal breaker for me, although it's possible I would make an exception. I'm very short - only 5'3", but I think 5'8" or minimum 5'7" is probably about my limit for men. I just don't think really short looks good on a guy.

Shorter than me is a dealbreaker. 5'7" and up is just fine.
I can't imagine excluding people based on my own footwear preferences.

Well to me it is sort of a deal breaker. But I have dated guys who are 3 inches taller - I am 5ft 7 and like to hear heels... My boyfriend is 6ft 4 which works perfectly. I usually wear 4-5 inches heels so it's good
If the guy were really nice and had all I was looking for, it would be fine however if he were my height or a couple inches taller.

I'm 6'1" and love to wear HIGH heels (4-6"). My husband is 5'9"-5'10" (depending on his footwear ) and he loves it when I wear high heels.
We met online.
I've dated from 5'7" to 6'9" (it might have been taller...I can't recall anymore. )
I'll be honest, I was much more open minded about dating a shorter guy when I knew them or met them in-person compared to online where the "number" listed for the height seemed to be more obvious than their actual height would have been in person. But I never did state in any of my profiles that I would only date men my height or taller.
And some may think that I was more open minded about height because I had less options being a tall girl, but I never ever had a problem meeting men (of any height) when I went out and in heels. I always had more men approaching me than my shorter friends (who usually did have strict height requirements).
