Some don't wear bras. Bras are expensive--why spend the money if you don't need one?

To be honest, when you're small chested (I've always been a small B) without a bra, you can look "pointy" rather than round, which looks better. I wear a bra for the shape it gives me. I've rather look round than pointy.

When I was younger like in my 20s, my rule was that if I was wearing two layers, I wore no bra. I called it the "two-layer rule." A friend of mine who was in her early 40s told me back then that when I was 40 I'd change my mind, because I'd need support. I laughed and said that I'm so small, there's nothing to sag, so I can't imagine needing or wanting support.
Well, um, now I'm 44 and I see that even small boobs need support when you're older. They aren't sagging per se, but a little bit droopy for my taste. I prefer them to be about a half-inch higher in altitude. So I no longer observe the two-layer rule; it's bra-every-day.

Everyone needs support. Especially when they are active. It is more comfortable.

I am on my phone, please forgive the typos.

Most European women don't bother. But then again, they are so...European.

Yeah, flat chested women don't need to wear a bra, and if a guy has boobs - maybe he should wear a bra if they're B cup or bigger. It'd be embarrassing though.

If I was a man with c cups boobs then I''d just switch to wearing bras and panties.

Why do women with double mastectomies wear special bras/inserts? That would be your answer.
