I'm considering buying it pre-owned as i always loved them but as a gift for my mom (we share purses). My questions are A) does the bag look too outdated? I dont want to look "so 2003" haha. And B) could a woman in her 50's also use it or is it too youthful?
I don't think it looks trashy, but it does look a bit dated to me, yeah. Not that there's anything wrong with it. I say if you like it, go with it! Good to get it used - I sure wouldn't pay that price for that bag, holy crap.

I love it, in fact i'd jump up and down for joy to receive it as a gift, however i'm a bit younger at 30. I buy only logo stuff, leather bags seems to old lady for me, and just too plain and blah. I'm more of a bright, and colorful person anyway so I love it. Louis Vuitton bags never go out of style, and they are a good investment piece in my opinion. If you take care of them, they can last for many years. It's awfully small to use as a everyday bag isn't it? I have the mono pochette, and it's more of a larger wristlet size. If she don't carry much, it would be good, but if she likes larger bags, i'd go for something else. I will say for someone who is 50, i'd probably aim for something a little less colorful and fun, unless she likes that kind of stuff like I do. Only you know what she likes, if you think she would dig it, go for it.
