Ever bought an item of clothing and it wore like iron, looked great, fit like a dream, then - - - ARRRGGGHHHH!! The company stopped making it!?! That has happened to me twice in the past year, both times with my best, black, business pants. So, I'm off to find another designer/vendor. I'm looking for a business/dress black style with NO cotton, a bit of stretch, tailored (but, no pleats), easy care, and in-seam pockets. I know, I know - there are dozens and dozens of pants I just described out there. But, I want them made out of a fabric that has some weight to it. Ever notice how the fabrics lately are so darn thin? I'm not "twenty-something", nor am I a size 2. I am in the public all the time and need something that looks crisp and sharp, with no fussing. I'm open to all suggestions - THANKS!!
I know what you mean......I loved a specific Vanity Fair Illumination brief. They fit like a glove....no riding up....so comfy. When I found out they were being discontinued I bought as many as possible. But now they are wearing out and I have to find a new brand
One the pants.....Jones New York has lovely business clothes and most of the major stores carry the brand:-)

Yeah...THAT"S the story of my life!!!
I used to worship Levi's # ??? (I forget the number I used to wear) and they fit me like a dream. (I have curves!)
Then, they stopped making them....and I had a fit.
After searching and searching I finally ended up with Victoria's Secret jeans....awesome fit!
Now, they stopped making the one I got used to (low low rise, bootcut), and came out with the "flare" (which I am not really crazy about!)
Like I've said....story of my life....

This description sounded like a pair of pants in my closet and I went to check. Pretty heavy weight. They came from Talbots. No pockets, though. Not quite sure why you need them ...
Wow - great suggestions! I need the pockets because I am a Realtor and have to stuff keys, business cards, cell phone close by. I'm off to Talbots today to check them out - Thanks!! Shall also check out Macy's for Jones NY and Liz.
I got some nice ones this year. Unlined wool with pockets, Ralph Lauren, on sale for $48.00 at Macy's.
Land's End has some good pants in a variety of sizes.
