I hate to shop. I want to see what I want stocked on a shelf or hanging on a rack as soon as I step into ye old shoppe. I'm your average slob looking for t shirts and Wranglers. Its too much to ask in my tiny town, if not for the state highway cutting through you couldn't get more than a pump of gas, a cup of coffee and a pamphlet from the chamber of commerce.

What has your on-line shopping experience been like? Amazon has never let me down, anywhere else deserve a chance?

Ebay, but your really need to read up on how to get the best deals and not get screwed. Ebay has a pretty good buyers protection plan the really irritates a lot of sellers. I was irritated at first but figured out how to become a better seller in turn I attract better buyers.

I also use Amazon. I am the type of shopper though that will have five to ten sites open though looking for the best deal.

ALWAYS use a credit card, never debit.

I also buy and sell through forums that I am a member on.

I just sold about 2000.00 worth of guns through Calguns forum site last month, all legal of course.

Not sure how much traffic this site gets for sellers and buyers.

I used to buy new jeans on ebay. Not anymore.

They were significantly cheaper as in the store.

But only ever 2nd or 3rd was fitting. So at the end, I could have just bought them in the store.

I would only recommend online shopping if you are 100% sure about your size. And if you don't expect the clothes to fit 100%. Or you try them on in the store first and then buy online.

Best case scenario - order them somewhere with free shipping and return option. So you don't pay anything if it doesn't fit and you send it back.

Books, electronics, etc - I buy them all online.

Love Zappos! Free FAST shipping both ways!
The only downside is that you can't use coupons

I only shop for clothing at Zappos. Free shipping and free returns and a year to do it. Amazon does not offer that.

Oh Zappos is great. After my first order I always got next day shipping. They have clothing too, just search by the manufacturer. I have never been disappointed in anything I purchased from them. Excellent customer service.

the best bet is to sign up with slickdeals.net and set alerts for deals from various etailers and retailers whenever a sale occurs...from amazon to zappos, etc...you can find some really great bargains by just registering a free account with slickdeals...you can also post in forums there if you need to ask questions about products and services..
