Have you ever seen a guy with a shaved head sitting alone at the bar? Didn't think so.

Not sure how good looking he is, probably not very. But a ex rugby league player from my part of the world (Gorden Tallis) is a good example of how to do it, once you decide to shave it. He's about 40 now and is in this photo :

This was him in his playing days with a more full head of hair :

I often wonder why I didn't shave my head long before. I was starting to thin a little up on top and front, and it was my girl who requested I shave it down. I relented and got it cut shorter than usual (about a 2 guard) and liked it. Then I figured "Why not?", and asked her to just shave it down with a razor with no guard. I think it looks great, and she gets positively randy when she gets done shaving me because she loves how it looks. It works even better with just about an equal length of scruff on the face.

Think Jason Statham.

^^^How can a shaved head look stupid on a white guy? That is just silly.

I do like a bit of a receding hairline, but only if the hair is kept really short and clean cut. Otherwise I think shaved is best. It's funny, I've seen guys with shaved heads that look really handsome, and then will see photos of them with a full head of hair and they don't look as good!

I'm a man so discount my advice if you like, but if you're losing your hair I say its better to man up, admit you're bald and shave your head than try to fight it.

I hate shaved heads-looks too prison inmate to me.Too MMA.
I don't care if a guy is receding -think Ed Harris or John Hurt.

It depends on the guy's head shape to me. But anything is better than a comb-over, so even if he had a head like a mis-shapen tomato, I'd still take shaved rather than the dreaded C-O.
