Basically.

My don'ts have no size requirements, many things are universally bad.

Unintentionally sheer leggings (I probably do not need the unintentional part) or leggings that are too sheer
Leggings with short tops as street wear (leggings are not actually pants)
Panty hose in lieu of pants (I have seen this several times, including when someone tucked in a top into pantyhose. Control top hose and all)
Improperly fitting clothing (can happen at all sizes)
Sheer tops with the wrong bra (no dingy, old, or non-contrasting bras allowed)

That covers most of the key ones. I used to be more picky about bra straps. But if they are showing, it should be intentional. I.E. wear a bra with straps that are meant for show. (Of course at the gym it doesn't matter.)

Agreed. That dress does not have a flattering cut at all. This similar idea is much more flattering, and would look great on most women!

Except the $118 part.

If you must follow the trendiest trends (aka the ones that you know will look dated by next month), pick ONE of them per outfit. I see so many women (and men, actually) walking around wearing every trend all at once in the same outfit.

Also -- please know what colors look flattering on you and stick to those colors. I love yellow, but yellow does not love me back.

Easy style to find though. That shape is in style right now and available everywhere at all price points.

I have picked up similar at Old Navy, Gap, Target and Kohls.

I think this is a list of what looks bad at any size.

I am a larger woman myself and I have a different, specific list of things I think should be avoided in bigger sizes:

tshirts with a small picture on the front center
bike shorts, when not actually on the bicycle
those shirts that were printed with folds to leave white streaks in the fabric, looks like the fabric has stretched to the breaking point

That is a much better cut. The other dress looks too big, and unflattering. I personally love maxi dresses (yeah 5'11"). I typically wear a dress or skirt of some sort 4/5 days a week.
