Can someone explain this to me because I just don't get it. I was handling one recently and I thought to myself--how can my fellow sisters pay to have a string up their butts all day? So that there is no visible panty line? WHO CARES?!

And this is the kicker of a question: when you take off the tha-tha-tha-tha-thong at the end of the day, is the string brown?

I wear them because I find them comfortable. I do wear 'full coverage' or bikini style here and there, but find the fabric tends to bunch and be uncomfortable.

And I keep my rear end clean so my underpants are clean as well

I don't buy them. I couldn't care less if someone saw panty lines on me. The don't look comfortable but I wouldn't know for sure since I never buy them.

How in the world is a string sitting inside your crack comfortable? Please do not find me rude; I just don't know how this is possible?

(And as for your last point, how do you make that happen )

I'm from the "who cares if I have pantie-lines" camp.

After several children, I need coverage... and grannies, provide all the coverage, comfort, and fit I need.

Well, I didn't think it was some horrific thing to have a panty line. I wear briefs--less than granny panties and more than low-riding ones.

I am SO glad that the fad of those low-rise pants has bitten the dust. For a while it was difficult to find regular waisted pants unless I bought men's.

Yeah, the thong thing always has escaped me. I always assumed it was a way to please the men folk more than honoring your comfort

With me, it's comfort, first... everything else last/next/second.
