can't stand Hawaiian shirts but that's just me. Also can't stand loafers though haha. They would look terrible on me.

As far as the socks...are you talking about with shorts? I get compliments on the way I dress fairly frequently (Married, but my wife's friends or women who are friends of mine) and I mainly wear those white crew socks outside of work. However, I never wear shorts unless I am working out or wearing a bathing suit so It's not really an issue since you really can't even see it (pants + very short crew socks that you can barely see anyway).

I go without socks when I am wearing some sort of slip-ons but wear socks with nearly all of my lace-up shoes. (28 here)

Hawaiian shirts, if not too loud, are cool!!

Socks with sneakers.. what else do you suggest??

Men with earrings-not cool!

Facial or neck tattoos-not cool either..

White framed sunglasses... nothing says D-bag like a guy wearing them. They look good on women though , especially if the lady has a nice tan.

I like the Hawaiian type shirts (Carribean or Tommy Bahama) as long as they are not too garish. A nice change of pace from the Guayaberra style I grew up seeing in the 70's. I only wear them with casual slacks though, with shorts I prefer T's.

I also prefer a gray crew sock with loafers or sneakers unless I am wearing jeans, then I prefer white. I think these look much better than the dress socks with my cargo shorts. I cannot stand to go sockless except in sandals or flip-flops. The bare feet stink up closed shoes very quickly and wear out the linings much too fast.
Crew athletic socks; yes - with shorts (long shorts)

He is a professional guy and wears typical business wear during the week.

No earrings, no tats, he does have very cool sunglasses though

Skinny jeans!!

Clearly, not all men wear them...but I don't understand why any man would. For women, it's to accentuate their hips, thighs, and legs....and also to look fashionably wonderful with knee high boots.

But men? Why?!?

I knew a guy who was 6'3", and wore skinny jeans on a regular basis. His gf thought he looked great wearing them. Huh????

1. I've always hated Hawaiian shirts, even as a kid. My mom tried to put one on me as a 4 year old and I refused.
2. I only wear short white socks when I go running. Other than that, I wear crew length black shoes. Been doing that since high school. I really hate white socks. I cross my legs alot and nothing more annoying than seeing a bunch of white between my shoes and jeans.

I have about 3 Hawaiian shirts ( two Tony Bahamas) and I like wearing them. I wear shorts( 6 and 9 inch inseams) but wear Cole Haan leather sandals ( not thongs) and have a good tan. If I wear socks, they are with Bass canvas shoes and I sure don't pull them up to my ankles ( I have those socklets that are small). I hate that black shoes and socks with shorts on old men. Also don't like white socks and sneakers with socks up to their knees.
