Eh, the hipster tight jeans, ridiculous hair do, and weird t-shirt look will come and go. Remember, in the 90s the cool anti-mainstream kids used to wear jncos:

Hilarious how absurdly stupid we think jnco jeans are now.

I like the metro/hipster look on some men. It doesn't look good on everyone. I'd prefer metro over macho any time, though. Nothing is more off-putting to me than insecure men who need to prove how "tough" they are all the time.

On manicures. If you want a guy to put his hands all over you they might as well be nice hands, right?

When I think of attractive fashion in men I think California Casual. Clean fitted jeans, a t-shirt or a button up. Maybe a nice sweater during the cold months. Well groomed, sloppy facial hair is gross. Personality wise, usually reflected to some degree by appearance, I would say I like a guy who is thoughtful, responsible and has a good sense of humor. He should take care in how he looks but shouldn't be obsessed with his image.

But I try to remember that different kinds of guys attract different kinds of girls. Just because a look isn't doing it for me doesn't mean the guy is going to end up being forever alone. I've met plenty of girls who love skinny jeans and guy with long shiny locks.

My husband is rough around the edges and I like him that way

Easy to tell apart.

Hipsters are the ones have

1) the oversized tank top or
2) the colorful plastic sunglasses we wore in kindergarten or
3) the red sideburns and beard or
4) the dirty t-shirt or
5) the slightly "out of it" look or
6) speaking overly sarcastically or "ironically" or
6) are sitting/laying on the sidewalk

Metrosexuals are the ones that

1) look like women
2) talk like women
3) in the mirror like women
4) in the bathroom like women
5) shop like women
6) are seeing their physical selves through the eyes of other people.. like women
7) are male
8) are not gay

There is nothing worse than a man who plucks, or shapes his eyebrows, guys look much better with thick, untrimmed eyebrows. It's OK to trim a few stragglers, but that's it.
