This might sound like a weird question, but do you think extra weight can make a once beautiful woman unattractive? Or do you think if a woman is truly beautiful, extra weight doesn't matter. For example, if Miranda Kerr gained 60 pounds, do you still think she would be beautiful?
I think it depends on the person and where the weight goes. Some people look better with extra and vice versa. MK would be barely overweight if she gained that much. Milla Jovovich gained a lot of weight when she had twins. Her arms could of been better but she still looked pretty to me.

Yeah, you're right about where the weight goes. I tend to gain a lot of weight in my face, so I have to stay thinner unless I want to look like a bloated fish.
It may depend on what stage of life one first encounters someone.
There are some celebrities and "everyday" women that I first knew as ladies of size. When they lost weight, especially through surgical means, I didn't always find them as attractive. When one loses a dramatic amount of weight, there are side effects that aren't obvious to those who don't live with them. Skin can sag and one's true age can start to show. Exercising can only tone up so much without even *more* surgery. But if it's literally a matter of life and death, I support that decision...and if they feel happier and more "athletic", then more power to them.
When weight goes to one extreme or the other whether it be underweight or overweight it can change the total appearance of a person. Especially as one gets older. Sometimes too thin makes the face hang more and shows off more wrinkles and lines. Too heavy like the other person stated can make one look bloated. Some carry weight better then others especially if it is more spread out.
