To me, a blonde is someone who has naturally blonde hair. Yet I hear women being described as a 'blonde' when in fact they clearly have dyed blonde hair.
Well, if a dyed blonde robbed a bank and her description was circulated by law enforcement, if she had blonde hair, wouldn't it be most accurate to call her a blonde? Or in the case of the photo of the black woman with dyed blond hair, a black woman with dyed blond hair.
In essence, describing someone as they actually appear. (With clothes on, anyway, LOL.)
Conversely, how would you describe a 60-year-old female bank robber with dyed blonde hair? Of course, she's a blonde. You don't know how much gray she is covering up, if any, or what her natural hair color is.
If someone pays for their hair color, that's the color of their hair, whether it's "natural" or not!
No, you should call her a liar, fraud, and charlatan! How dare she pose as a blonde!

I had naturally auburn/red hair, which I "enhanced" my whole life - from age 14 to age 53 - to make it a bit redder. So my entire life, I've been referred to as "the redhead."
At 53 I finally stopped dying my hair and it's mostly silver. I love it. Two years ago my "natural" hair color was red, as far as I was concerned. Now, it's light gray and that is my "natural" hair color.
BTW, the carpet and drapes are still auburn, LOL. The only thing that's changed so far is the hair color on my head.
Reminds me of an old story about Marilyn Monroe. When someone asked her about her hair, she is said to have replied, "I'm a decided blonde - because that's the color I decided it was going to be".
Keep in mind a lot of bottled blondes had natural blonde hair most of their life and it just got darker blonde/light brown as they got older. So they lighten it.
is true for my sisters and me. Truthfully I would like nothing better than to have had a much darker color of hair but when there are blonde eyebrows and eyelashes involved it just seems easier to lighten or highlight it.
However, I think any woman who wants to be a blonde and is prepared (and I would say most are) for the upkeep of having blonde hair...why not? Besides there are many women who look absolutely stunning as blondes even if it is not their natural hair color.
OFCOURSE, a persons hair color is their current hair color.
Very few people have naturally platinum blod hair as adults. When ever I see a blond adult woman I naturally assume its been bleached. No different than a 98 pound woman with DD's...pretty safe to assume they are fake but she would still probably be described as large on top.
