I love the neon nail polishes that are available now. Wow, the first time I saw someone wearing it, I noticed her nails all the way across a room. That's how much these colors "pop"!

BUT......I hate how easily the neons chip!! I don't understand why they chip so much more than other polishes. It's not just me or my imagination....I googled, and apparently the neon polishes truly do chip more easily. I always use base coat, 2 coats of color, and a top coat, and with my other polishes I can sometimes get close to 2 weeks! But I barely get 2 days with my neons.

Has anyone here figured out a way to make the neon polish last longer?

What base and top coats are you using? I find that regardless of the nail polish I use that using Seche Vite makes it last a LOT longer. I haven't yet found anything that works quite as well.

I use Hoof Lacquer as a top coat. Amazon.com: Healthy Hoof Lacquer .5 Oz: Beauty

I painted my mom's toenails with Milani neon orange, 3 coats, and then a coat of Hoof Lacquer, and that polish lasted for 6 months...I kept offering to take it off and put a different color on, but she was curious to see how long it would last. Her nails don't grow very fast.

You could also try UV gel versions or the stickers to see if those stay on better for you.
