Unfortunately Clarks are too narrow for me. (I have major bunion issues.)
But my Dansko clogs give me a little heighth, I guess.
I am not really interested in heels, but am always looking for *walkable* shoes.

Just some ideas...
Naturalizer (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/29666067/c/2750.html - broken link)
Peter Kaiser (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/30399384/c/120416.html - broken link)
Cole Haan Nike Air (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/27524369/c/1731.html - broken link)
Sofft (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/29430983/c/113029.html - broken link)
Not quite sure what type of shoe you are looking for. Actually, a wedge is usually more comfy to walk in.

Too narrow even in wide? I have Clark's in 8W (my actual size) as well as 8.5 M and 9 M that fit, depending on the style. They are really not reliable with size consistency, which is annoying but they make so many cute styles that work for me I can't complain too much. The Indigos don't come in wide.

The borns claim to be one width fits all (ridiculous concept) so I had to go up to a 9, but weirdly they don't feel too long.

Shoes?! I love them but they make me crazy.

I've had great luck in, of all places, J.C. Penneys shoe dept.! They carry Born, Clark, Hush Puppies, East 5th, Aerosole, and a few others that are called their "Comfort" line. They also always seem to be having a sale. I have several pairs that have at least 2.5 heels, padded interiors, non-slip soles, and actually look high style. Also, check out a mail order catalog called Foot Smart. They have some interesting selections.

I have the most incredible pair of aerosole wedge heels that are about 2.5 inches. They are so great that I had tp buy them in brown and black! Everytime I wear them, I get tons of compliments.

I used to wear 3 inch heels. As I got older they got shorter. Now Ive gotten old and had knee surgury so I only wear them from the car to sit down places.

Heres a tip from when I used to wear them. Always buy them too big. Then fill up the toe part with a good padded non slip insole or two if needed. Make sure theyre loose cause after you stand awhile your feet will swell. Nothing worse than tight high heels. But fill up the space with insoles cause if theyre too loose thats not good either.
