I have a big old pump bottle of shampoo in the shower and decided to see how shampoo would work instead of shaving cream, and it worked just fine. Any time I can cut down on containers of stuff in the shower, I'm for it. I'm not using shaving cream any more.

Good for you, OP.

I use conditioner instead of shaving cream on my legs.
Much less irritating/drying.

I just use the soap I'm cleaning my body with. I lather the soap up in my hands, then spread the lather on my legs, and shave with that. I get clean, and clean-shaven, at the same time. Saves time, effort, and expense. And I don't smell like 5 different perfume shops all meeting in a head-on collision.

I have done this for years. I am 38 now and I think the last time I bought shaving cream was when I was in high school. If my legs are feeling/looking dry, I will use conditioner instead.

I was using some Neutrogena Rain Bath, then I used baby oil, after that was shaving cream and I may break out some leftover shampoo and when that is gone I will try the conditioner.

What has worked the best for me? Mens Barbasol. Just like my dad used to use. Mens razors work better and mens product work better.

Same here. I usually use conditioner. I've done this for many years.

Electric razor. I don't know why every guy doesn't use one instead of a blade.

I've used bath soap to shave my legs pretty much all my life. I'm 56. For a while when the first lady's shaving cream first came out I used that, but I didn't see any advantage to that over bath soap.
